Small and miniature sized hand bound books in various unusual shapes and designs, be it for special purposes or just for fun. All books are hand-made from start to finish in the Ox Bindery!
We, Ineke Scholte and Benjamin van de Wetering, are specialized in the hand bound book be creating a new or conserving the old. Ineke concentrates herself on the decorative and funny side of the bound book and Benjamin is engaged with conservation and traditional binding.
Inspired by this tranquil and fairy-tale area, nature and fantasy, we create new booklets in a variety of sizes and shapes which can be used for various purposes. For example: miniature booklets as jewelleries: earrings or brooches; diaries and notebooks; sketchbooks and photo albums to remember that special holiday or wedding; gifts like a heart shaped notebook bound in tripe, or a twinbook bound in self sprinkled paper; for the kids a blackboard book cut into the shape of a house, penguin or fish; fun bindings like a chickenleg book or order your own special book, be it a chiropractor or a musician!
